Dorie GreenspanEnjoy a multi-course brunch with Julie Child’s favorite baker Dorie Greenspan on Nov. 22 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the National Press Club’s Fourth Estate restaurant.

Baking Chez MoiGreenspan, whose ground-breaking bestseller “Around My French Table” won top accolades, will introduce her newest cookbook, “Baking Chez Moi: Recipes from My Paris Home to Your Home Anywhere.” The book explores the universe of French desserts, drawing on seasonal ingredients and adapted for the home cook, showcasing the French knack for elegant simplicity.

Inducted into the James Beard Foundation Who’s Who of Food and Beverage, Greenspan was tapped by Julia Child to write "Baking with Julia." She coauthored Desserts by Pierre Hermé, which won an IACP award. Her Around My French Table was an IACP Cookbook of the Year, and Baking: From My Home to Yours won a James Beard Award.

The brunch will include both savory and sweet dishes as well as beverages paired to match each course. The price includes a cookbook signed by the author. Reservations essential.
