The public policy group America’s Survival, Inc. (ASI) has called a news conference on July 16 to correct and counter the Bill Ayers interview on the Fox News “Kelly File” show that glossed over the nature of the communist terrorist group and smeared America’s Vietnam Vets as genocidal killers.

“Fox News covers the VA scandal involving bad health care for our veterans,” ASI President Cliff Kincaid said, “and yet Megyn Kelly gave Bill Ayers the opportunity to repeatedly smear those vets as brutal killers in Vietnam, responsible for 6000 ‘murders’ a week. This outrageous smear must not be allowed to stand.”

The news conference is being held at 1:00 pm in the Zenger room of the National Press club, 529 14th St. NW, 13th Floor, Washington, DC. 20045.

Kincaid warned that, “The ‘Kelly File’ show has set the stage for President Obama to issue pardons for Ayers’ comrades still in prison,” noting that Attorney General Eric Holder was involved in pardons for Weather Underground members during the Clinton years and released one of Ayers’ comrades, convicted terrorist Marilyn Buck, from a federal prison.

Kincaid has written a 12-page letter to Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, detailing how anchor Megyn Kelly was poorly prepared for this interview and how she created a false narrative and impression of the activities of the terrorist gang. The letter is available at www.usasurvival.org

Kincaid will use a Power Point presentation to show what was missing from the “Kelly file” show – photographs from a Weather Underground bomb factory of explosives, disguise kits, communist literature, and the names of those Weather Underground members, including Ayers, whose fingerprints were taken from the location.
