Web traffic is shifting dramatically from computers to mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets. Therefore, it’s essential for companies to understand how people access online content through mobile devices and to identify strategies to connect with these audiences. This workshop will help you learn how consumer behavior is shifting along with mobile technology developments and understand the strategies to reach consumers online through responsive design and native applications. By the end of the workshop, you will be able to identify specific criteria to determine when a native mobile application is better than a mobile-optimized website. You will also learn about case study reviews of successful mobile applications, platforms and campaigns. This workshop is intended for communications professionals who seek to leverage mobile strategies and tools, such as native applications and mobile websites, for their own organizations or for their clients.
