It may seem counter-intuitive, but it's much more difficult to write a short news story, feature or web post than it is to write long.

Learn ways you can shorten your stories without skimping on facts or style. The class will cover both print and web skills. The session will be taught by Rick Dunham with the Washington bureau of Hearst Newspapers and the Houston Chronicle.

The class is free for NPC members and $10 for non-members. Space is limited.
