NPC Online Voting FAQ

Online voting opens at 8:00am ET on Monday, November 28 and concludes at 9:00pm ET on Thursday, December 8. Members can vote in person on Election Day, Friday, December 9 starting at 8:00am ET and ending at 7:00pm ET.

Online voting can be completed on a computer, mobile device or tablet.

The Membership department will have a computer available in the General Offices, Monday through Friday between 9:30am and 4:30pm if you would like staff assistance.

Step-by-Step Online Voting Instructions:


  1. Click Here. (Link will open in new window/tab.)

  2. Login as a voter
    Your username is your membership number.
    Your password is your last name.

  3. Select the candidates of your choice and hit "Next"
    Click on details to read about each candidate.
    There is a write-in option for each position.
    You must write-in your vote for the Treasurer position.
    You must vote for two candidates for the Board of Governors, Journalist Three-Year Term position.

  4. Review the ballot, select "Participant Consent" and Submit.
    You are able to edit any choice by clicking on "edit selection."
    NOTE: Once you hit "Submit" you cannot change your vote.

  5. You will see confirmation that your vote has been recorded and you will then be redirected back to the National Press Club website.
