Cleveland Clinic executive to analyze Supreme Court decision's impact on health care industry, July 20

Cleveland Clinic chief executive Dr. Delos M. (“Toby”) Cosgrove will analyze how the recent Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act could impact health care policy and the industry at a National Press Club luncheon on Friday, July 20.

His address comes as some observers predict consumer confusion and continued legal wrangling after the Supreme Court decision. Cosgrove also will outline how the Cleveland Clinic -- a $6 billion health care system comprised of about 30 major components -- strives to provide high-quality care while keeping costs down.

Cosgrove has worked for the Cleveland Clinic since 1975 and is a graduate of the University of Virginia School of Medicine.

Lunch is served at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning promptly at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $19 for Club members, $30 for guests of members and $37 for general admission.

To reserve tickets, please e-mail [email protected] or call 202-662-7501. Tickets must be paid for at time of reservation.
