Mind-body medicine pioneer Deepak Chopra slated for April 4 luncheon

Internationally known mind-body physician Deepak Chopra will address the healing power of spirituality at a National Press Club luncheon on April 4.

The event will coincide with publication of his latest book, "Spiritual Solutions: Answers to Life’s Greatest Challenges." Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing immediately following the luncheon.

A leading advocate of mind/body/spiritual healing, Chopra has written more than 65 books — 19 of which made the New York best-sellers list. His books have been published in 85 languages. He is co-founder of the Chopra Center for Wellbeing, which promotes the connection between body, mind, spirit and healing.

Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m. Remarks begin at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m.
