Segments of Latino Americans will be hosted at the NPC by Suarez with members of the production team. This three-part, six-hour documentary is narrated by Benjamin Bratt and premieres on PBS on three consecutive Tuesdays, Sept. 17, Sept. 24, and Oct. 1, from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. The series will be nationally broadcast in Spanish on VmeTV, for six consecutive Fridays, beginning Sept. 20.

Latino Americans is a production of WETA Washington, DC; Bosch and Co. Inc.; and Latino Public Broadcasting (LPB) in association with Independent Television Service (ITVS). Latino Americans chronicles the rich and varied history and experiences of Latinos, who have for the past 500-plus years helped shape what is today the United States and have become, with more than 50 million people, the largest minority group in the country.

Suarez will describe segments of the six episodes. After the screening, he will sign copies of his book "Latino Americans: The 500-Year Legacy That Shaped a Nation."

Reception during book signing with music.

The Press Club is located on the 13th floor, 529 14th Street, NW, Washington, DC; entrance on 14th Street.
