Reduce stress, boost wellness; join moving meditation classes starting Jan. 31

The National Press Club's Journalism Institute will launch monthly classes, featuring gentle movement and breathing exercises aimed at reducing tension in the body, relaxing the mind, and encouraging connection with fellow hard-working journalists, beginning on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

The monthly classes will be led by the Institute's Bara Vaida, 500-hour, Yoga Alliance-certified yoga instructor, with specialized training in meditation, stress-reduction, and therapeutics.

This initial one-hour gathering will take place in person at the National Press Club, at 5:30 p.m.  Tickets are $5 for  Club members and $15 for nonmembers; get tickets now. (Registration will be limited to 15 individuals.) 

Participants are encouraged to wear relaxed clothing and  bring a mat or towel to class; mats and towels will not be provided. Please email NPCJI Training Director Bara Vaida with any questions.
