The one-hour program will be streamed live on the National Press Club’s website as well as the YouTube Channel. It is accessible to both the media and members of the general public and free of charge.

Johnson will discuss the NAACP Image Awards, which honors outstanding performances in entertainment and the arts, and the importance of representation and recognition in Hollywood. He will also address many of the critical issues to which the organization has focused its efforts, including corporate accountability in the wake of the death of George Floyd and the recent NFL/Fox deal, advancing police reform, navigating COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy in the Black community, and student debt cancellation.
Johnson will also share how the 112-year-old organization has evolved since he took the helm in October 2017.
