The often thoughtful, informed, descriptive, eloquent, and insightful network reporting from war-torn Ukraine has drawn comparisons to that of broadcast legend Edward Murrow, who established the standards of modern broadcast journalism during World War II.
On Tuesday, April 5, at 7pm ET, Casey Murrow, Edward R. Murrow's son, and an honorary lifetime member of the National Press Club, will join a Zoom gathering of the combined Broadcast/Podcast and History & Heritage teams to talk about his father's life and legacy.
The one-hour conversation (with member questions) will also include a special appearance by Marvin Kalb, the last correspondent personally hired by Ed Murrow at CBS News, the network's former Moscow Bureau Chief, and a Harvard scholar in Russian Studies.
All Club members are invited to participate.
