As the 2024 National Football League season prepares to kickoff, Josh Harris, managing partner of the Washington Commanders and founder of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, and Tad Brown, CEO of Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment, will speak at a National Press Club Headliner Luncheon on July 29.
Harris led a group that purchased the team last summer for $6.05 billion. He and his team have focused over the past year on improving the fan experience and hiring new leadership, including General Manager Adam Peters and Head Coach Dan Quinn. The Commanders also drafted Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels of Louisiana State University in April. Both Harris and Brown have decades of experience in building professional sports teams, with Harris also serving as managing partner for both the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers and the NHL's New Jersey Devils.
The event begins at 12:30 p.m. with lunch in the ballroom. The program begins at 1 p.m. National Press Club members may purchase up to two tickets for the discounted $25 member rate. Non-member tickets cost $45. To reserve a table of eight and for all ticketing-related questions, please email [email protected]. All guest information must be confirmed 72 hours before the start of the event. Tickets must be paid for at the time of purchase.
