Leaders from the Democracy Initiative, Demos and Common Cause will review state-by-state election law changes set to take effect in 2022 at a National Press Club Headliners panel on Thursday, Jan. 13 at 2 p.m.
Panelists include Diana Philip, chief of staff of the Democracy Initiative, a coalition of 75 civil rights and social justice organizations, Taifa Smith Butler, president of Demos, a Washington-based think tank that conducts research on voting rights and money in politics, and Karen Hobert Flynn, president of the government watchdog group Common Cause.
