NPC *Virtual* Taco Night

Join us on Friday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m., as the National Press Club’s 113th President Michael Freedman and Reliable Source Manager Mesfin Mekonen host “Virtual Taco Night,” sponsored by the NPC Events Committee.

Club Member and President of the National Latino Farmers & Ranchers Trade Association, Rudy Arredondo, will perform traditional Latin American guitar pieces and Executive Chef Susan Delbert will demonstrate how to make the delectable Mango Chile-Lime Margarita (below). Members are encouraged to buy drink ingredients in advance to prepare the drink together with their fellow members. This event is BYOT – bring you own tacos.

Mango Chile-Lime Margarita

• 2 ripe mango (cubed, about 1 cup)

• 1 cup orange juice

• 4 limes  or small can frozen limeade

• ½ cup silver tequila

• 1 ounce (dash) triple sec or orange liqueur (Cointreau, Grand Marnier)

• 1 dash Tabasco (optional)

• 1-3 Tbsp. agave nectar, honey or maple syrup (depends on sweetness of mango) (optional)
