This event is open only to NPC Members & their guests
There has never been a more anticipated Opening Day for baseball than the 2021 season. While most ballparks are limiting their capacities for spectators, the Press Club is the next best place to watch the game with friends and colleagues.
Fifty fans will have the opportunity to watch the Washington Nationals play the New York Mets on Thursday, April 1. The pregame will be projected on the big screen in our ballroom beginning at 6 p.m. followed by the first pitch at 7:09 p.m. No more than 50 guests will be allowed in the ballroom and each person will have their own space to ensure enough physical distance to enjoy the game safely. Masks must be worn except when eating or drinking.
Tickets are $30 for members and $40 for guests. Members are allowed to purchase up to 3 additional tickets for guests. Tickets include:
- (2) Beers -- No drinks served after the 7th inning
- Hot dogs
- Box of Cracker Jacks
Attendees are welcome to order takeout from our online store.
The Club is committed to providing an enjoyable and safe environment for guests. Temperature checks and screening questions upon entry, social distancing and mask-wearing will be enforced.
