Prepare for a sweet blast from the past as the iconic cast of 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - including Charlie Bucket, Veruca Salt, and Mike Teevee - plan to visit the National Press Club on June 6.

Indulge your senses at the Reliable Source's Wonka Themed Buffet on the evening of June 6, where during a drawing five lucky diners will have a chance to win NPC Golden Tickets for an exclusive photo opportunity alongside the cast in front of the Club sign.

Salad:

  • Julie Dawn:  Mozzarella, strawberry salad with chocolate vinaigrette 
  • Grandma Georgina:  Roasted beet and sweet potatoes salad

Hot buffet:

  • Gunter Meisner:  Chocolate Molasses Roasted pork tenderloin 
  • Grandpa-Joe:  Organic grain feed chicken mole 
  • Mrs. Beauregarde:  Cocoa-orange catfish 
  • Charlie:  Bittersweet chocolate beef bourguignon 
  • Veruca:  Salt-Roasted Mocha chocolate vegetable
  • Mashed potatoes

On the board carve:  Wanka-Wanka Roasted beef with chocolate au jus

Desserts:

  • Chocolate fountain
  • Chocolate mini pastries

For those driving, free parking is available weekdays at One Parking, 1325 G St. NW, after 5 p.m. with a $25 purchase of food and beverage.
