5th James W. Foley Freedom Run set for Oct. 20

 

Join the National Press Club to participate in the fifth annual James W. Foley Freedom Run in Washington, an event to raise both awareness and funding for journalists' safety, including education and advocacy efforts.

The 5K Run/Walk begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Rock Creek Park Grove 1. Runners and walkers can sign up by going to the Club's race page and clicking "Register to Run Today" in the lower right hand corner of the page. Runners should sign up as fundraisers.

Registration is $35, and the amount goes to the Club's goal of raising $5,000 for the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation.

Even if you're not running, you can always donate to the Club's team.
