Air Force Chief at Oct. 12 Luncheon

The Air Force’s top officer, Gen. Norton A. Schwartz, will address a Club luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 12.

Schwartz will discuss the service's ongoing efforts to fight two wars while it prepares for an uncertain future filled with an array of potential threats. He also plans to talk about how the Air Force is getting ready for a period of increasing fiscal austerity.

Schwartz has served as commander of the Special Operations Command-Pacific, as well as Alaskan Command, Alaskan North American Aerospace Defense Command Region, the 11th Air Force and U.S. Transportation Command.
