All Club members encouraged to participate in online survey

A message from National Press Club President Alison Fitzgerald Kodjak

Dear Colleagues,

In an effort to better serve our members, be a resource for journalists and communicators, and advocate for press freedom worldwide, the Club's leadership is developing a new, five-year strategic plan.

The strategic planning committee, led by Vice President Michael Freedman and including a diverse group of current members of the Board of Governors, is reviewing the Club's programming, physical plant, business, and membership policies.

To inform this process, we have engaged a consulting partner, Hudson Pacific, to conduct research that helps us better understand what members value about the Club and uncover opportunities to strengthen our impact. Your candid thoughts will be especially valuable to this effort.

Between now and July 28, we ask that you take a few minutes to complete the National Press Club member survey which was emailed to you on July 17.

If for some reason you did not receive the email, it is available on the Club website or by clicking here. Note that you will need to log-in as a member in order to access the survey, which should take 15-20 minutes to complete.

All National Press Club members are strongly encouraged to complete the survey so your voices are heard in the strategic planning process.

As a thank you, all survey participants will receive a $20 gift card for use at the Reliable Source Restaurant.

Thank you in advance for your participation and generous dedication of time.

Best regards,

Alison Fitzgerald Kodjak, President National Press Club
