Andrew Young and Godson Discuss Memoir, 6:30 pm June 7

Civil rights leader Andrew Young and his godson Kabir Sehgal will discuss their memoir "Walk in My Shoes: Conversations Between a Civil Rights Legend and His Godson on the Journey Ahead" at 6:30 pm, Monday, June 7, in the conference rooms.

A top aide to Martin Luther King Jr., Young has has also been a diplomat, pastor, mayor of Atlanta, congressman and ambassador to the United Nations.

For years, he has been mentoring his godson in correspondence and conversation.

Sehgal works in emerging market equity sales at JPMorgan. He was an aide to Sen. Max Cleland on the John Kerry presidential campaign and is the author of "Jazzocracy: Jazz, Democracy and the Creation of a New American Mythology."

As a fundraiser for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library, no outside books will be permitted. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing for $24.
