Annual photo exhibit accepting entries, deadline Aug. 22

It's time to enter those special photos in this year's National Press Club members photo exhibit. The show is the Club's 21st annual celebration of visual storytelling with entries accepted online until Saturday, Aug. 22.

The Club's Photography Committee wants your best photos — those that show special people, events, and moments. The event is a true exhibit, not a contest. No judges or juries review your entries, nor are any prizes awarded.

The exhibit this year is all digital, with only electronic images accepted. Members may submit up to four original images, not shown before in the annual exhibit. However, images displayed in the Club's Coronvirus Life gallery may be entered this year.

Full instructions and guidelines can be downloaded from the Photo Committee web site.

Members can also tell the stories behind their photos and a little about themselves in an online catalog, captured on the entry form. Participation in the catalog is optional.

Exhibit images are displayed online beginning Sept. 1 through the end of the month. If conditions permit, the images will also be shown on big screen monitors in the Club lobby during September. Mark your calendar for the virtual opening reception on Friday, Sept. 4.
