The Headliners Team is seeking members to fill several available slots on the team.
Headliners, the only National Press Club team whose members are appointed by the Club president, organizes speaker luncheons, Newsmakers and Book Raps virtually and at the Club. Recent speakers have included Dr. Anthony Fauci, filmmaker Ken Burns, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr., Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, AFL-CIO President Liz Shuler, Veterans Affairs Secretary Denis McDonough and Sinn Fein President Mary Lou McDonald.
The team meets once a month, but team members work throughout the year to recruit top speakers to the Club. The team leaders are Lori Russo and Donna Leinwand Leger.
Applications are due Feb. 21.
