Army Secretary McCarthy headlines Club luncheon, Feb. 14

Secretary of the Army Ryan McCarthy will address the Army's budget priorities at a Headliners luncheon Feb. 14 at the National Press Club.

McCarthy, a combat veteran and former Lockheed Martin executive, assumed the top post on Sept. 30. He had served since 2017 as the 33rd under secretary of the Army. His speech is entitled: "New Budget, New Leaders, Steadfast Priorities."

Lunch will be served in the Holeman Lounge at 12:30 p.m., with remarks beginning at 1 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session ending at 2 p.m.

Tickets cost $25 for Club members (members may purchase two tickets at this rate) and $39 for all other non-member tickets.

Club members who have a paid reservation to the luncheon and wish to attend the pre-luncheon reception must send their RSVP via email to [email protected] at least 48 hours before the date of the luncheon. Space may be limited.
