Attention photographers! Final call for members' exhibit photos

This is it. The final deadline to enter your brilliant photos for the 17th annual National Press Club Members' Photography Exhibit is this Friday, Aug. 12. All entries must be submitted to the Club's membership office on the 13th floor by that date. Because of space limitations, NPC's Photography Committee gives preference to photos entered by the deadline.

Up to four photos may be submitted by any NPC member, with a maximum overall size (print + mat) of 11 x 14 inches. Prints must be securely mounted on sturdy mounting board. If matting is used, it must be securely attached. Improperly mounted or matted photos will not be hung. All titles, descriptions, or your signature (optional) must be put on the front of the mat or photo. No separate descriptions are permitted.

On the back of each photo, please give our name, email address, and phone number. And rank order your photos on the back with #1 for your favorite photo down to #4, in case there is not enough space to hang all your photos. A full set of exhibit rules and detailed scheduled can be downloaded here from the Photo Committee's web site.

Photo Committee members will hang all entries on Aug. 31 at 12:00 pm, and they will remain on display through the end of September. All Club members are invited to take part in posting the photos.

Mark your calendars for the gala opening reception for the exhibit in the Club lobby on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at 6:30 pm. The reception is a celebration of this year's exhibit, itself a celebration of the Club's talent by amateur and pro photographer alike.
