Author talks about Mary McGrory biography as part of Women's History Month

John Norris will speak on March 22 at 6:30 p.m. to the Society of Professional Journalists D.C. chapter about his book on journalist Mary McGrory, in honor of Women’s History Month. The event runs until 8:30 p.m. and includes a cold-dinner buffet. It takes place at the American News Women's Club, 1607 22nd St. NW, Washington, D.C.

Books about McGrory, the first woman to win the Pulitzer Prize for commentary, will be available for signing by Norris. He currently is executive director of the Center for American Progress’ Sustainable Security and Peacebuilding Initiative.

Event attendees must register beforehand here. The cost is $10 for the public; $8 for members of American News Women's Club, the National Press Club and SPJ; and college students are $6.
