Award-winning authors to discuss writing, resiliency and community Wednesday, April 29
Explore how truth-telling in tough times creates community with syndicated columnist and author Connie Schultz, and journalist and author Jon Mooallem. They will discuss their experiences in “Resilience and Community,” from 11:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 29, on Zoom. Registration is open.
Schultz is a nationally syndicated columnist for Creators Syndicate and a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer. She's authored two memoirs, and her novel, "The Daughters of Eerietown," is scheduled to come out later this year. Mooallem is writer at large for The New York Times Magazine and the author of "This is Chance" and "Wild Ones."
The first part of this program will be a 15-minute conversation between the writers, connecting writing, resilience and community with this moment. The second part of the program will be a 15-minute Q&A with participants. This program will also support local independent bookstore Politics & Prose, which is selling the authors’ books.
You can purchase “This is Chance!” by Mooallem here. And you can pre-order “The Daughters of Erietown” by Schultz here.
