Back Pain Expert to Teach Fitness Class, Noon June 7

Before you can say “Oh, my aching back” again, come down to the Bloomberg Room to meet Esther Gokhale, author of the Nautilus Gold award-winning book, “8 Steps to a Pain-Free Back,” from noon to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 7.

Dubbed the “Michael Pollan of posture,” she will introduce her Gokhale Method, touted as “the greatest contribution ever made to nonsurgical back pain treatment” by Helen Barkan, a Mayo Clinic scientist. A graduate of Princeton University and a licensed acupuncturist, Gokhale will give hands-on assistance and make recommendations on how to best sit to promote pain-free posture and movement.
