Books & Brunch to discuss "The Gardner Heist" at virtual meeting, July 18

Photo of cover of Gardner Heist Books & Brunch will meet virtually at noon on Saturday, July 18, to discuss "The Gardner Heist: The True Story of the World's Largest Unsolved Art Theft" by Ulrich Boser.

If you would like to participate, please email Fay Iudicello at [email protected] by Friday, July 17. Confirmed participates will receive a Zoom invitation from Julie Gentry at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 18.

All members are welcome to listen in and participate even if you haven't finished the book.

The group will also vote on for one of three non-fiction nominees for the Books & Brunch gathering in September. The nominees are: 

  • "A Good Provider Is One Who Leaves: One Family and Migration in the 21st Century"(400 pages) by Jason DeParle, an award winning New York Times reporter.
  • "Leadership In Turbulent Times" by Doris Kearns Goodwin (370 pages)
  • "Educated: A Memoir" by Tara Westover.  334 pages
