May 18, 1908: At the Club's official housewarming above a jewelry store on F Street, the first gala evening in its history, Buffalo Bill Cody tells tales of taking Sitting Bull to see President Grover Cleveland.

May 20, 1999: Presidential hopeful John McCain criticises the Clinton Administration's foreign policy and urges us to get our GIs off food stamps.
