C-SPAN offers training to club members on using its video library

C-SPAN's video library contains more than 200,000 hours of political programming, including tapes of numerous National Press Club luncheons, and the cable network is holding a training session to show journalists how to access the archives.

The program is scheduled to run from 8:45 am to 10 am on Wed., Aug. 21. An optional tour of the C-SPAN studios will follow.

Attendees will learn how to search the archives, and find and share clips. The training session is free, but reservations are required. Please RSVP by Mon., Aug. 19, to Laura Finch at [email protected] or by calling 202-626-6129.

C-SPAN studios are located at 400 N. Capitol St., near Union Station. Please make sure you bring your ID to show at the ground floor security desk.
