Call for nominations for political journalism prize

National Press Club members seeking upcoming award opportunities may be interested in submitting a nomination for the David Nyhan Prize from the Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.

The David Nyhan Prize, named for the late Boston Globe columnist and reporter, honors a political journalist who embodies David’s commitment to challenging the powerful and acting as a voice for those whose voices are seldom heard. The award is $2,500 and is conferred at a ceremony at Harvard in the Fall semester.

The deadline for nominations is Monday, Sept. 27, at 5 p.m. ET. Nominations can be submitted onlne.  

The Shorenstein Center is a Harvard Kennedy School research center dedicated to exploring and illuminating the intersection of press, politics and public policy in theory and practice.
