Can't get to Nationals Park for Opening Day? Try the National Press Club instead.

Nationals Park may be off limits to all but 5,000 fans on Opening Day, but you can still watch the game surrounded by fellow baseball fans.

Come to the National Press Club on Thursday, April 1, to watch the Nationals take on the New York Mets.

Only 50 fans will be allowed in to watch two former Cy Young Award winners, Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer, square off on the big screen in the Ballroom. The pregame show will be broadcast beginning at 6 p.m., followed by first pitch at 7:09.

Tickets can be purchased online and are $30 for members, $40 for guests. Members are allowed to purchase up to three additional tickets for guests.

The ticket price includes two beers, hot dogs and a box of Cracker Jack. No drinks will be served after the seventh inning.

Each person will have his or her own space to ensure enough physical distance to enjoy the game safely. Masks must be worn except when eating or drinking. There will be temperature checks and screening questions upon entry,
