Chef Susan does it again: A special dish for Club's Election Night Party

You can always count on the National Press Club's executive chef, Susan Delbert, to come up with a unique menu item for special occasions in the Club's Reliable Source bar and grill.

And, as the restaurant's gala Election Night Party starting at 6 p.m. next Tuesday, Nov. 8, approaches, she has not disappointed. Among the special election-themed menu items already announced for the occasion, she has added a new one Who's the Goat? Stew.

The stew is part of the Reliable Source's Election Night buffet. Hors d'oeuvres include South of the Wall empanadas, breaded and fried jalapenos, beef satay and mozzarella stix. Prices are $6 to $10.

Selections on the entree buffet ($20) are Partisan Turkey with red sauce and blue sauce; Who's the Goat? Stew; Chicken Saltimbocca; A Fishy story -- sautéed cod with (sour) lemons; rice; Mashed Politics Potatoes; and Eat Your Veg; and Winner Take All cookies.

Special "presidential" cocktails also will be available.
