Children's holiday party set for Dec. 8

Don’t forget to make plans to attend the National Press Club's Annual Children's Holiday Party Saturday, Dec. 8.

The party starts at 11 a.m. with a buffet that includes corn dog, hamburgers, French fries and even fruit and vegetables. Tickets are just $10, and reservations can be made online.

A DJ will spin tunes and the Cardinal Cloggers, which include former Club President Theresa Werner, will be back to perform.

Santa Claus will drop by to say hello.

There also will be face painting and the annual chance to decorate a gingerbread cookie.
