Club members can buy tickets to the March 6 Gridiron Reprise

National Press Club members can buy tickets to the Sunday reprise of the Gridiron Club's annual show to be held March 6 in the Washington Renaissance Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW. A reception, which includes beer and wine, begins at 2 p.m. and the reprise at 3 p.m. The program will end by 5 p.m.

The Gridiron show, which includes satire and songs that skewer the president and congressional leaders, political candidates and journalists too, features well-known faces that might include Al Hunt of Bloomberg, John King of CNN, Andrea Mitchell of NBC, Judy Woodruff of PBS and Bret Baier of Fox News. Syndicated columnist Mark Shields relays highlights of the speeches that were delivered the night before, which include remarks by Vice President Joe Biden, Julian and Joaquin Castro and a Republican speaker to be named later. Running the musical performance is the director of the President’s Own, the United States Marine Band, Lt. Col. Jason Fettig, the Gridiron Club's musical director.

Tickets are $70 each, and you can buy up to 10 tickets online using Eventbrite here. The members' password is: Gridiron321.

Tickets purchased online cost an additional $4.84 to cover the Eventbrite service fee. Please add National Press Club to your club affiliation name if you'd like to sit with fellow Club members.

Because the Gridiron Club and Foundation is a 501c (3) organization, about $54 of the $70 cost of the ticket is tax-deductible as a charitable contribution. Its profits support a number of journalism programs and organizations.
