Club to screen documentary about Kabul newspaper during Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, May 1

The National Press Club will host a screening of the documentary "Etilaat Roz” at 6 p.m. Monday, May 1, in the Fourth Estate.

This film chronicles the collapse of the Afghanistan government and the Taliban takeover of the country from inside the office of the Etilaatroz newspaper. It tells the story of the publication and its journalists after the fall of Kabul.

Following the screening, Zaki Daryabi will answer questions about the documentary, which he co-produced, and the events surrounding it.
