Register, then attend Club's fall general membership meeting virtually, NOON TODAY
The National Press Club fall general membership meeting will be held via webcast at noon on noon today, Oct. 16. Be sure to register in advance.
Meeting business will include:
- How the Club is continuing to operate during the COVID-19 pandemic
- The "doubleheader" offer for members to pay their dues for 2021 in advance and have all of 2022 covered
- New young members through partnerships with Howard University and "Report for America"
- Scholarship recipients
- Upcoming awards judging
- Our "Help the Heroes" initiative
- Recent and upcoming events, including the Nov. 18 Fourth Estate Awards honoring CBS News President Susan Zirinsky and journalists Linda Tirado, Maria Ressa and Ed Yong.
- The upcoming December election for Club leadership.
