Communicators Team adds Bloomberg Businessweek editor to virtual media panel on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at noon

Joel Weber of Bloomberg Businessweek plans to join reporters and editors from other national and regional news outlets to discuss how they select the people, companies, and issues they cover during an online “Meet the Business Media” session hosted by the National Press Club Communicators Team on Wednesday, Nov. 17 at noon.

Admission to the Zoom discussion is free for NPC members and $15 for nonmembers. Proceeds will support the NPC Staff Holiday Fund. Click here to register.

Debra Silimeo, a Communicator member of the NPC Board of Governors, is expected to host the panel with Weber and three other business journalists: Vandana Sinha, editor-in-chief of the Washington Business Journal; Chris Rugaber, employment and economy reporter for the Associated Press; and Pallavi Gogoi, head of the business desk at NPR.

The panel also plans to discuss how professional communicators can serve as critical sources for the media about the businesses and organizations they represent.
