Communicators Team Lunch & Learn: Getting into the nitty-gritty of podcasting, June 3

Half the U.S. population has tuned in to a podcast at one time or another, with many sticking around to explore the ever-expanding pod-o-verse after their introductory show. With no signs of the industry slowing down, now is the time to start planning how to tap into podcasting.  

The National Press Club Communicators Team will host a Lunch and Learn session on “Getting into the Nitty-Gritty of Podcasting” on Thursday, June 3, at noon. The session will provide attendees with an understanding of the industry landscape, the power players, and the various ways to participate in the fast-growing medium.

Through the use of multiple case studies and personal narratives, Club Communicators Team member Maria Rodriguez, the president and CEO of Vanguard Communications, will moderate a discussion with David Keine and Jon Dispenza of Podchaser. They will highlight the numerous benefits and rewards of podcasting and explain options for using the platform to bring communications professionals closer to their goals. 

The Podchaser team will also talk about the best practices for planning and executing a podcast campaign and what information is most important when making strategic decisions. Whether the intention is advertising or placing a client or thought leader in front of a new audience, they’ll show how to move forward.
