Deadline approaching to show off best coverage of aerospace, defense and airline industry

For those who cover aerospace, defense and the airline industry, the time is now to get your entries in for the National Press Club journalism contest.

The cost of an entry is free for Club members and $75 for non-members. The deadline is June 30. Send your entry in online, or if you prefer, it can be mailed in to the Club, as long as it is mailed by the deadline.

The Club is looking for the best work from 2019 about the issues, trends and watchdog journalism about these industries for the Michael A. Dornheim award. This award is presented in celebration of the career of the late Michael Dornheim, a longtime reporter and editor at Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine. There is a cash prize for the winner.

Details of other awards in the annual contest can be found here.

The awards will hopefully be presented later this summer at an awards dinner at the Club, depending on conditions.
