Did you know: NPC’s annual Beat the Deadline 5K on Sept. 7

Did you know that the Club hosts a number of special events for our members?

Our next event will be the NPC’s 16th annual Beat the Deadline 5K on Sept. 7. It’s time to lace up your shoes and join Washington-area media, celebrities, elite runners and weekend walkers.

To register to run or walk, please click http://www.press.org/5k#tickets. The cost to participate is $35, which includes an official 5K shirt and entrance to the post-race pancake breakfast.

This annual fundraiser benefits the ongoing work of the National Press Club Journalism Institute, which is committed to helping working journalists improve their skills through ongoing training and programming of future journalists through scholarships that promote diversity within the profession.
