Discount tickets to World Press Photo DC available for members

Members of National Press Club can see the year's most celebrated news photographs on display in Washington, D.C., at a substantial discount.

World Press Photo DC is an annual display of prize-winning news photography held in 100 cities worldwide, including here in Washington.

The local exhibit is held in the Dupont Underground gallery, a converted streetcar station under Dupont Circle (enter at 19th Street NW), daily, except Mondays and Thanksgiving, through Nov. 25. The D.C. exhibit is sponsored by the Lightscape Foundation.

Club members qualify for a discounted price of $12 to attend the exhibit; the full price is $18. To take advantage of the $6 discount on general admission tickets purchased through Eventbrite, go to the web page and enter the code PRESSCLUB (all caps) to your order. That will reduce the cost from $18 to $12, plus Eventbrite's processing fee.
