Documentary on Military Chaplains, 6:30 pm July 28

"Chaplains Under Fire," a documentary on military chaplains, will be screened at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, in the conference rooms.

Directed by Lee Lawrence and Terry Nickelson, “Chaplains Under Fire” examines the lives and work of military chaplains and the church-state tensions at the heart of the chaplaincy.

As part of the NPC Summer Documentary Series, a panel discussion with the film’s directors will follow the screening.

The final documentary in the series is "Who Killed Chea Vichea" by Bradley Cox, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 4. The film follows the investigation of the murder of Chea Vichea, leader of a Cambodian worker's rights union. Thea Lee, AFL-CIO deputy chief of staff, will participate in the panel discussion to follow.

Popcorn and a cash bar are available at each documentary.
