Dogfish Head Beer Dinner 6:30 pm May 10, $70 for Members

Six beers from Dogfish Head Brewery will be featured at a five-course dinner in the Fourth Estate Restaurant at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 10. The cost is $70 for members and $93 for non-members.

Reception: 60 Minute IPA -- intensely hopped, citrus, East Coast IPA. Hors d'oeuvres are Grafton cheddar cheese profiteroles, wild mushroom phyllo triangles, miniature reubens, and Indian pizza.

Salad: Aprihop -- soft, velvety tone of apricot. Served with a salad of frisse, radicchio and spring mix, mang, oranges, dried apricots, red onions, almonds and citrus vinaigrette.

Mezze: Indian Brown Ale -- well-hopped and malty, barley and brown sugar. Served with smoked sausage and duck pate with Dijon mustard, toast points, fried capers, and a balsalmic cucumber salad.

Fish Course: Midas Touch -- smooth, sweet, dry ale. Served with baked cod noisette with tart lemon risotto, spiced curry sauce, and papaya salsa.

Meat Course: Black and Blue -- Belgian strong ale with blackberries. Served with flat-iron steak with blackberry mushroom demi-glaze over celery and potato puree with roasted figs.

Dessert: Palo Alto Marron -- brown ale, caramel and vanilla. Served with plum crisp with crstallized ginger crust and pineapple sauce.
