Employment opportunity at Global Press Journal for NPC members

Global Press Journal is growing its team and hiring for three new, full-time positions in the coming year - News Editor, Associate News Editor and Senior Visuals Editor. All three will be based in Washington D.C.

Editors are supported by fact checkers, copy editors, translators and multimedia producers so that they can focus adequate time on story coaching, exceptional line editing and storytelling innovation.

More details on the new positions are as follows:

Associate News Editor
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional journalism experience that includes multimedia storytelling. Candidates with relevant international experience and language skills will be prioritized.

News Editor
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of professional journalism experience, with a track record of editorial leadership and innovation. Candidates with relevant international experience and language skills will be prioritized.

Senior Visuals Editor
At least three years of professional experience in visual journalism and/or web content production for a news site. Knowledge of Word Press, Google Analytics, Adobe suite of products to create video and other multimedia assets. Some knowledge of HTML. Be an energetic, detail-oriented, self-starter looking for an international opportunity to manage an award-winning news site. Candidates with international experience and language capabilities will be prioritized.
