Enjoy April in Paris with "Julie & Julia," 7 pm April 7

Julie and Julia, called "a scrumptious feast" and "the feel-good movie of the year," will be shown at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, in the McClendon Room during Dinner and a Movie Night.

The film, starring Meryl Streep, is based on Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession intertwined with blogger Julie Powell's 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child's first book, Mastering the Art of French Cooking.

The event is open only to Club members and their guests. There is no admission charge. Attendees can order dinner from the Reliable Source menu. No reservations are needed, but seating is limited.
