"Evening in the Palace of Reason" at Book Group, Noon June 19

The NPC's Books & Brunch group will meet from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, in the Fourth Estate Restaurant to discuss "Evening in the Palace of Reason: Bach Meets Frederick The Great in the Age of Enlightenment" by James R. Gaines.

Free parking at the PMI garage on G Street between 13th and 14th streets is available to those who buy a meal.

The July Books & Brunch discussion will be on July 24 to avoid conflicting with the Club's 5K Run on July 17, which is the Group's usual third Saturday of the month meeting date. The July book will be a novel, "Olive Kitteridge" by Elizabeth Strout.

Books & Brunch is for NPC members and guests. For more information or to be added to the e-mail list contact Jack Williams, Books & Brunch chairman, [email protected].
