Expert Speaks on Vatican, Holocaust Jan. 12

Gary Krupp will speak will speak on the topic "The Vatican and the Holocaust: Was Pius XII Hitler’s Pope or A Savior of the Jewish People?" on Wednesday, Jan. 12, at 7 p.m.

The event is free for National Press Club members. For non-members, tickets are $5 in advance, $10 at the door. Complimentary hours D’ouevres will be offered. Reservations can be made online (click here) or by email at [email protected]. Deadline is Jan. 11. Seating is limited.

Krupp has devoted the his life to creating greater harmony among the world’s religious through his Pave the Way Foundation, for which he has been honored by Queen Elizabeth, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI, the Jewish National Fund and many others.

Krupp, whose father was one of the first Americans to liberate the camps at Buchenwald and Ohrdruf, has spent the last four years researching issues surrounding Pius XII. Pave the Way has posted more than 40,000 original documents of the actions of the Vatican during and before World War II.
