FDA Commissioner Califf plans to address healthcare communications at Headliners lunch, Feb. 14

FDA Commissioner Robert M. Califf plans to speak about the communications link to health outcomes at a Headliners lunch on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The Food and Drug Administration oversees the safety of more than $2.1 trillion worth of food, tobacco, and medical products produced in the U.S. and abroad, and regulates about 75% of the U.S. food supply.

Califf recently wrote in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) that the healthcare community needs to "redouble its efforts to provide plain-language information" on the benefits of vaccines as a growing number of Americans decline jabs.
