FDA Commissioner at Oct. 6 Luncheon

Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Margaret Hamburg will speak at a Club luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 6.

The second woman to be named FDA Commissioner in the agency’s history, she has a background in infectious disease, bioterrorism and health policy.

The FDA, an agency within the Department of Health and Human Services, is responsible for protecting the public health.

The luncheon begins at 12:30 Reserve at [email protected] or 202-662-7501. Cost of the luncheon is $17 for Club members, $28 for their guests, and $35 for the general public.
